The large lavender bushes which were very kindly donated by Rachel went in today. Fingers crossed they‘ll survive.
This is only a temporary home for them; at some point we'll move two to either side of the front door. We're planning to add a wringing post, so the rest of the bushes will be nearby that so we can lay out the linens across them to dry in the sun. Not only will this fragrance them, the photosynthesis from the bushes will help to bleach the linens, thus removing any stubborn stains! Cunning eh?!
Bed 2 is looking very lush - I think we'll have to harvest it soon.
